The Marketing team is responsible for building and executing a growth plan for the company’s products and solutions, while also positioning the brand for future success. The Director of Marketing will operate as a key growth marketing expert, product marketing leader, creative visionary, and own the marketing strategy & execution end to end.
You will lead and execute across teams to brainstorm and prioritize growth tests, conceptualize & execute product marketing needs, and build the brand. We’re looking for a deep understanding of conversion funnels, product marketing expertise, and proven experience marketing SaaS products, while ensuring we hit our monthly and quarterly objectives and goals. Marketing will range across both prospects and customer segments, helping drive growth across conversion funnels and in-app customer experiences.
Outline testing hypotheses and ideas in a clear document
Coordinate peer reviews with the team to brainstorm and outline testing ideas
Own & prioritize all conversion rate experiments across the company, including ad designs, proposed user experiences, data analyses, and post-test recommendations.
Partner closely with the Paid,Organic marketing, and data ops teams to ensure flawless execution and measurement of all tests
Own the tracking, management, and analysis for all performance marketing tests. You will leverage industry-leading testing platforms (e.g. VWO) to track, report and manage all conversion rate optimization (CRO) testing
Report experiment results to broader Turn/River team regularly, communicating key insights, next steps, and recommended company actions
Memorialize CRO best practices once we have discovered repeatable CRO wins across companies, ensure that all companies key conversion funnels follow all current best practices
Develop and execute customer research surveys & strategies focused on better segmenting customer audience marketing, informing product roadmap, and ultimately improving the way we bring products & services to market
Communicate all features, products, and releases to customers in a way that drives adoption, customer satisfaction, and retention
Create a strategy to build high quality third party reviews & PR across the web
Brand & Events
Develop the brand, tone, and overall messaging & creative framework for Thinq
Create an event marketing strategy that not only solidifies the Thinq brand, but compels customers and prospects to increase their adoption of the platform
Experience / Skills
5+ years of conversion rate optimization experience for fast growing software business (SaaS and/or telecommunications preferred)
2+ years managing product marketing responsibilities for a high growth internet product
1+ years managing brand & event marketing at a high growth internet company
Proven track-record of fast paced experimentation & driving growth results
Excellent written and verbal communication, focused on the “so what” / bottom line
Highly analytical, very comfortable with numbers & analysis, but able to see past issues/discrepancies in reporting that may not reflect reality
Skilled at establishing and maintaining strong relationships with marketing teams and peers, able to influence
Able to teach best practices, strategies, and tactics
Strong project management skills; detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and focus.
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
